A couple of weeks ago when chatting to Phuvio (Accademia news stand) I met his sister. She was a professional musician & plays the violin & viola. But she played Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for ten years & never wanted to hear it again. With her husband & brother they bought an osteria near the market side of the Rialto Bridge. Thursday I finally made it there for lunch. Here you can see the photos of the All Sarcre & Profano. Only small but so traditional. I had a lasagne with raddiccio & sausage. Mmmmm, it was SO good.
On my way home I saw Phuvio & told him I’d eaten there. The next morning I was waiting for the vaporetto and guess who came onto the pontille? Valeria, the partner in the osteria with his children. He also lives on La Giudecca.
