My friend Joyce arrived Thursday evening and it's been non stop!
Friday I took her to Ca Rezzonico, a palazzo with rooms decorated in the 17th & 18th century style. Warm enough for coffee outside then up the Grand Canal for lunch before having a flying visit to the natural History Museum.
Last night we went to the inaugural concert of Venezia Ensemble, my friend Liesl was the soprano. The concert was excellent followed by a delicious buffet.
This morning we are leaving shortly for a day in Udine with the Circolo so full details and photographs on Sunday when I have taken Joyce back to Marco Polo.
